Every student deserves a nurturing environment that supports their academic journey, but for many international students at Iowa State University, the necessity of owning a comfortable bed remains out of reach.
That’s why we are launching a fundraiser to provide beds for these students, and we need your support!
The International Student Council at Iowa State University, in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa, dedicated faculty and staff members, and members of the Ames community are joining forces to address this pressing issue. Together, we want to ensure that every new international student with limited financial resources can start their educational journey with dignity and comfort by providing them with a bed of their own. By donating to our fundraiser, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of these students and empowering them to excel in their studies.
Relocating to a foreign country for higher education is a monumental undertaking, often accompanied by significant financial strain. Many new international students at Iowa State University face tremendous challenges in affording even the most basic necessities. Your contribution, regardless of its size, will make a profound difference by removing a substantial barrier to academic and professional success.
